Nicole Caruso
Southeastern Swimming
I’m Nicole Caruso from Southeastern Swimming, and it would mean the world to me to serve you as Junior Zone Rep. Being in an SES leadership position has allowed me to be a part of swimming when I was injured, or when I was struggling and felt I couldn't make meaningful contributions in the water. I love swimming, and it has given me everything. Giving back to this sport is a privilege that I do not take for granted. In just one year as athlete rep, I have worked on a National committee, National subcommittee, and was hand-selected for both the National LSC awards and newspaper task forces. I was chosen to work on multiple LSC and zone task forces, and I was the event planner and budget organizer for my LSC’s first ever in-person leadership summit, where I presented and moderated a speaking panel. Needless to say, I have taken advantage of every opportunity presented to me, so I have the connections, positions and experience to help lead the Zone and implement new ideas. Most importantly, I love what I do. This work is so rewarding and has shown me that I want to work in sports for the rest of my life. I love meeting new people and being a resource for people. I am approachable and professional. I would appreciate it if you granted me this opportunity to contribute to the upward trajectory that has made our zone one of the most competitive in the United States. |
