Self advocacy & relationship building
Tuesday, February 2nd @ 8PM EST
Hosted by Ryan Gibbons Being one of the youngest in a Board Room is really daunting. How do you gain respect and build relationships all while advocating for yourself and other athletes? Join us to learn more from Ryan and his experiences.
Hosted by Aaron Zhu Everyone is a different type of leader, and everyone has their different strengths and weaknesses. Teams and groups need leaders of all different types to be successful! In Aaron's workshop, you'll learn more about what type of leader you are and what you can contribute to a group setting to help you feel more confident in yourself!
Hosted by Marco Greico Working with adults is the key to success in our organization since we, as athletes, are the minority in governance settings. In this workshop, Marco will host a panel discussion addressing how to effectively get ideas across in a board meeting, work with non-athletes, showcase professionalism, and more.
Hosted by Patrick Hunter There are a lot of ways to serve this sport even once you have finished your time as an athlete representative! LSCs depend on volunteers to fill a number of roles and Patrick will show us how many ways athletes can contribute to our sport.
