I am incredibly excited to be running for the Athletes' Executive Committee. Currently, I am a National Athlete Representative and former Adirondack Swimming Athlete Rep. I am a Junior at Colgate University on the pre-med track. This is my sixth year involved in the governance of USA Swimming. My goal from Day 1 of being a LSC Athlete Rep was to one day serve on the AEC. I made a commitment to myself and the athletes I represented to wait until the right time to run. The time is now, we are at a time in USA Swimming where major changes are occurring. The AEC has a strong foundation of leaders currently seated, it is imperative we continue to add to that foundation in this election. I am making a promise to the Grassroot Athlete Reps to represent your voice and to explore ways that we can work with the inevitable changes coming when we come into compliance. Being an Athlete Rep these past five years at the LSC, Zone, and National Levels has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I am dedicated to giving current and future Athlete Rep's the same experience that many of us have enjoyed. I will work with the pillars of transparency and honesty. I will continue the work I have done the past five years advocating and serving athlete's in all 59 LSC's. We are stronger together and it would be the greatest honor to serve as a member of the AEC.
