Ever since I started representing athletes on the dry side of the sport, I have been passionate about pursuing the best interests of the athlete body. Over the past four years, I have gone from starting an Athletes’ Committee in Southeastern Swimming to representing the athlete voice on the national House of Delegates Working Group. I am wholly committed and dedicated to the improvement of this sport. Throughout all the ups and downs of my time as an athlete representative, I have never lost sight of my love for the sport and the main reason why I continue to strive for success: the athletes. This year, I’ve decided that I am ready to take my commitment to the athlete body to the next level by running for the AEC. I believe I would make an excellent contributor to this committee because of my work ethic and determination to show the USA Swimming contingency that athletes have an important, essential voice, and that we deserve to be heard. I hope my efforts, experiences, and achievements are enough to convince you that I am willing to take on this role with enthusiasm.
